Our Story
Love is lovelier... the Second Time around
On a warm July night, Carla and Dan met at Wolf Trap intending to listen to the NSO and watch Toy Story.
Instead, they scandalized all the young families around them by loudly talking of attachment psychology and how their lives had proven or disproven the theory.
Fast forward one year – another summer night at Wolf Trap, after some fits and starts. Carla and Dan met again for a James Taylor concert.
This time, between "How Sweet it Is to be Loved by You" and "You've Got a Friend," our lovebirds knew love was here to stay.
...and this group must somehow form a family...
Now four years later, Carla and Dan ask you to join us at Hilton Head's North Forest Beach to be part of our wedding community as we consecrate our commitment to each other in the presence of our family and beloved friends.
We have chosen Hilton Head as the place to celebrate our wedding with friends and family. Before meeting Dan, Carla had bought a house in Hilton Head and made it her permanent home once her kids went to college. Now, Carla also lives in Bethesda, MD with Dan and his family. Hilton Head is a special place to us, our family and our friends.
